# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • The sauce caramelizes into a gorgeous glaze that looks impressive but takes zero skill
  • You probably have everything in your pantry right now
  • It works for both casual weeknights and dinner with friends
02 -
  • Patting the salmon dry first helps the sauce stick instead of sliding off
  • Watch closely after 15 minutes because every oven runs differently
  • The fish keeps cooking slightly after you pull it out so do not wait for it to be fully done in the oven
03 -
  • Broil for the last 2 minutes if you want extra caramelization on top
  • Let the fish rest 5 minutes before serving so the juices redistribute
  • Double the sauce recipe and keep half in the fridge for a quick weeknight meal later
