11 - 1/2 cup water
12 - 1/2 cup granulated sugar

→ Mint Syrup

13 - 1 cup water

15 - 1 cup fresh mint leaves

→ Peach Syrup

16 - 1 cup peaches, peeled and chopped (fresh or frozen)
17 - 1/2 cup water
18 - 1/2 cup granulated sugar

# Directions:

01 - In a large pitcher, combine lemon juice and granulated sugar. Stir until sugar dissolves completely. Add cold water and mix thoroughly to blend. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
02 - For each fruit-flavored syrup, combine the fruit, sugar, and water in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat, then reduce to a simmer for 10 minutes. Gently mash fruit to extract maximum juice. Strain mixture through a fine-mesh sieve into a jar, discarding solids, and cool to room temperature.
03 - In a saucepan, combine water and granulated sugar. Bring to a gentle simmer, stirring until sugar is fully dissolved. Remove from heat and add fresh mint leaves. Allow to steep for 15 minutes, then strain into a jar and cool.
04 - Set the prepared lemonade in a large beverage dispenser. Arrange each syrup in clearly labeled jars or bottles. Place garnishes (lemon slices, mint sprigs), ice bucket, glasses, and mixing spoons for guest use.
05 - Pour lemonade into individual glasses. Add ice as desired and mix in chosen syrup (approximately 1–2 tablespoons per glass). Garnish with lemon and mint as preferred.

# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • Guests get to play bartender and invent their own dream lemonade.
  • The fruity syrups add color and sparkle, turning every glass into something totally personal.
02 -
  • If you rush the syrup making and forget to strain, the drinks end up pulpy and messy.
  • Letting the mint steep longer can make the syrup bitter; fifteen minutes is just right for a clean taste.
03 -
  • Use ripe fruit and taste your syrups before serving—adjust sweetness on the fly for a perfect mix.
  • If your lemons seem too tart, add an extra splash of water and stir until it tastes just right.
