# Directions:
01 - Preheat oven to 325°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - In a large bowl, beat the softened butter and powdered sugar together until light and fluffy, approximately 2 minutes.
03 - Add the all-purpose flour to the creamed mixture and stir until just combined, forming a soft dough that holds together.
04 - Transfer the dough to a lightly floured surface and gently knead 2 to 3 times until smooth.
05 - Roll the dough to about 1/2 inch thickness. Cut into desired shapes using a cookie cutter or knife.
06 - Place cookies on the prepared baking sheet spacing them about 1 inch apart. Sprinkle with granulated sugar if desired.
